Waterborne PU Raw Materials: Curing Agents, Chain Extenders & Crosslinkers

Waterborne PU Raw Materials: Curing Agents, Chain Extenders & Crosslinkers

Waterborne 2K polyurethane lives or dies on the isocyanate side: pot life, hydrophilicity, film clarity and chemical resistance all trace back to the curing agent. Xiangrun supplies the complete raw material set for waterborne PU producers — hydrophilic HDI curing agents, chain extenders and crosslinkers — as imported originals and proven equivalents.

Why Formulators Buy From Xiangrun

  • Originals and equivalents under one roof: we distribute imported grades from ADEKA, Asahi Kasei, Clariant, Wacker, Croda, Evonik and PUCORE — and manufacture our own X-series / L-series equivalents when you need the same performance at a better cost.
  • Free samples, freight collect: tell us your system and benchmark — the sample is free, shipped collect on your DHL/FedEx account, and most reach Europe within a week.
  • Technical answers, not sales talk: our lab replies with starting-point dosages and compatibility notes for your specific formulation.
  • Consistent supply: batch-to-batch COA, flexible MOQ from one drum, and export documentation handled for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose between 22A-75PX and a domestic equivalent?

Run them side by side: we ship both with a mixing-ratio sheet. Typical results show comparable gloss and chemical resistance; differences appear mainly in pot life and haze in thick films – which matter differently per application.

What pot life should we expect in a waterborne 2K system?

With hydrophilic HDI curing agents, practical pot life is typically 2-4 hours depending on NCO:OH ratio, temperature and co-solvent. Our TDS includes pot-life curves; we help you tune ratio for your line speed.

DMPA vs DMBA – which chain extender?

DMBA dissolves at lower temperature and shortens the process cycle; DMPA remains the cost-effective standard. If your reactor heating is a bottleneck, DMBA usually pays for itself in throughput.

Do you provide REACH and transport documentation?

Yes – SDS, TDS, batch COA and transport classification for isocyanate products, with export packing compliant for EU/UK import.
